Guest of Honour at the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show at the Stafford County Showground will be Kiwi track ace Graeme Crosby, who is making his only appearance in Europe this year at the show...
Former Grand Prix rider Crosby won the Isle of Man Senior TT in 1980 and became part of Suzuki’s official GP squad. In the same year he won the Suzuka Eight Hours endurance race. He’s also won the Imola 200 and the Daytona 200 and finished runner-up in the 500cc world ranking before retiring from motorcycle racing unscathed. Since then he has run a series of successful motorcycle businesses, seen success in the touring car championships and has been inducted into the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame.
More recently he released his autobiography, Croz - Larrikin Biker (ISBN 9781869508579), which is peppered with amusing track anecdotes and well worth a read.
We're offering 150 lucky fans the chance to spend Friday evening of October 19 in Graeme's company. Anyone who has had the pleasure of hearing Croz tell tales from his racing days will know what an entertaining evening this will prove to be!
The Audience With Croz starts at 9pm and will take place at the Tillington Hall Hotel, Eccleshall Road, Stafford, ST16 1JJ. Tickets cost just £25, which will include a welcome drink.
