If you went along to the Newark Classic Bike Guide Show in January you will have probably noticed Ian Daisley’s Pro Bike Art stand. Ian offers studio photography for owners of classic, custom or cherished bikes – in fact any motorcycle or scooter that someone wants photographed...

In the studio the environment is perfect for creating high quality images, a little different to the norm. It's not only the whole bike either as every machine has many interesting design and engineering elements, or perhaps custom paintwork etc.

Ian is an experienced, full-time photographer, but this side of his business only began last year and the CBG Show was his first time out among the motorcycle public.

A former motorcyclist himself – Yamaha and Kawasaki two strokes – Ian’s standard product is a studio session with the bike, which lasts abound two hours, in which his images will use both white and black backdrops.

The images are then posted in a gallery on his website www.probikeart.co.uk for the owner to choose to have one printed and mounted in a 300 x 400mm black frame, which is delivered along with a disk of all the images. Other prints can then be ordered if required.
