I ordered six clutch springs from the local dealer, expecting to pay through the nose, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the total cost just £7.50, and for genuine springs at that! Reassembly of the outer case is easy but make sure that the gasket is intact or, better still, use a new one. I decided to use the old one as it was in good condition and looks very robust.
