New Norton Domiracer uncovered!

Postby Mike.Penny » Wed Jul 10, 2013 8:11 am

These are the first pictures of Norton’s new Domiracer, taken inside the Norton factory. The cover was pulled off as Classic Bike Guide visited the Norton factory last week and we managed to grab these snaps...

So its not a real Featherbed frame and twin shock is way better than the mono shock system And Brian Crichton proved it too .I Have been a very keen Norton Enthusiast for some 40 years now and I am Not that Impressed with this 961 Motor or the new Commando . The Rotary was the way to go. and it still is in my vue Yours Anna J

whats the use of all this high tec chassis when it has only got an out dated over stressed twin lump powering it up the road. I will stick with my 1959 99 and 2012 bonnie and 16k in my back pocket thanks.

There's a massive cafe racer revival going on at the moment. Wherever you look there's people turning everything from cruisers to scramblers into cafe racers, so you can't really blame Norton for cashing in.

Personally, I think it's a near perfect blend of old and new and I'd have one :)

Hi Guys,

it's a shame to knock a "new" companies efforts, but what is the point of it? it is another retro (ish) looking lump which will no doubt cost a fortune. Why do the majority of new bikes look like something out of a Mad max movie?

Like modern Triumphs, it only shares a similar name on the tank. Not for me as it looks like what people call "Street fighters", after they have stuffed their bikes, and f##ked the plastics.
